Three Wrens Distillery was founded by Master Distiller and award winning mixologist Nick. After a very successful career in the cocktail and hospitality industry, Nick followed his heart and founded Three Wrens Distillery in August 2019. By January 2020, Nick had already won Gold Medal in the World Gin Awards - quite the feat!

This gin took 9 months of trials for Master Distiller Nick to complete. This Raspberry Edition is designed to stand out and offer something completely different to other raspberry gins, which tend to be on the light side. Three Wrens have made this using only fresh ingredients, NO artificial colours, essences or additives.

Distiller and innovator, Nick, had the idea when he was served a raspberry dessert in an Italian restaurant with tiny dots of balsamic vinegar. The balsamic elevated the flavour of the raspberry quite incredibly! If you have never tried this, dip a raspberry in balsamic, taste it and you will know what we mean.

Rather than putting vinegar in the gin Three Wrens briefly rest the gin in barrels that have been used to age Italian balsamic vinegar from Modena. The idea is that you won't taste balsamic in the gin, only its presence will be subtly felt — in a really good way.

Fresh basil and pepper work wonderfully well with raspberries so Three Wrens have used these too, along with Tuscan Juniper berries creating a truly unique gin with delicious savoury notes. Raspberry Edition Gin works well in a cocktail or in a long drink mixed with aromatic or classic tonic water.
